Individual, Relationship and Family COUNSELLING BASED IN WOKINGHAM

Clinical Supervision

A warm, reflective space to support your practice

I offer clinical supervision for counsellors who are looking for a

supportive, thoughtful space to reflect on their client work, ethical

practice and professional development.

I hold an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Supervision, including online and telephone counselling, and I am trained in both online and face-to-face clinical supervision. Alongside my private practice, I also work as a clinical supervisor for a local counselling agency.

My approach is warm, relational and grounded in curiosity. At the heart of my supervision work is the importance of building a safe and trusting relationship. I want supervision to feel like a space where you can bring your questions, uncertainties, mistakes, doubts and reflections without fear of judgement. My aim is that you feel supported, encouraged and held in mind, while we think carefully together about your work.

Supervision can offer time to slow things down, think together, and make sense of what is happening in your client work and within yourself as a counsellor. It can also support you in considering ethical questions, boundaries, safeguarding, professional confidence and the emotional impact of the work.

My supervision is informed by relational, trauma-informed and systemic practice.

The Seven-Eyed Model

I also draw on the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision, a well-established

way of thinking about the many layers of therapeutic work. It helps us

to look not only at the client and the work itself, but also at the

therapeutic relationship, your own thoughts and feelings, the

supervisory relationship, and the wider context shaping the work.

What I value about this model is that it creates space to slow down and

reflect in a fuller, more holistic way. Counselling is about so much

more than what happens in the room, and this model helps us to think

about the wider picture too, including the relationships involved in the

work, your own responses, and the broader personal, professional and

organisational contexts that may be shaping what is happening.

I bring experience of working with adults, young people, families and

relationships, with particular interests in attachment, trauma,

relational patterns, neurodiversity and family systems.
